The Actions page enables you to drive action (and outcomes) from your insights by creating action plans for individual listening events. You create action plans via reporting; however, once created, you can access, edit, manage, and complete your action plans from the Actions page.

Access the Actions Page

You access the Actions page directly from the navigation bar.


  1. Log in to the People Insights Platform.

  2. In the navigation bar, click Actions.



Actions Page Overview

The Actions page displays a list of projects (surveys) that have active action plans. Each action plan displays below its associated survey and shows the survey item the action plan is based on. Three columns of information are available for each action plan:


  • Role
    The user type assigned to the person who created the action plan.


  • Next Due Date
    The next approaching date for which the action plan creator committed to meeting with their team to discuss progress (these dates are selected when creating the action plan).


  • Actions
    Options to create a new action plan or edit an existing action plan.



If you don’t see the survey you want to create an action plan for on the Actions page, you can click Go to My Surveys List (lower right) to display the Surveys page. From there, you can view reporting for the survey and create an action plan. Once you’ve created the action plan, it displays on the Actions page.


You can initiate the following activities from the Actions page:


  • Create a New Action Plan
    Click Create New Action Plan (in the Actions column) for the survey you want to work with. Once clicked, the system opens the Reporting area where you can click Take Action for a survey item to start building your action plan.

  • View an Action Plan
    Click Edit (in the Actions column) for the action plan you want to view. All the action plans for the survey display in a table format. For each action plan you see the completion status, the survey question the plan is based on, any applied filters, action steps, review dates, and notes.

  • Edit and Manage an Action Plan
    You can edit, update, or delete an action plan as needed. Click Edit (in the Actions column) for the action plan you want to work with. In the action plan table you can click Edit to modify or update the action plan or click Delete to delete the action plan.

  • Complete an Action Plan
    Click Edit (in the Actions column) for the action plan you want to complete. In the action plan table you can click Edit to access the action plan in edit mode, where you can mark it as complete.
