Listen Page Overview

The Listen page is divided into three main sections:

  • Create New Listening Event

Clicking Create New Listening Event (top right) opens the Event Builder, which walks you through the steps for creating a new listening event.

  • Active Events

The Active Events section displays cards with response rate data for your four most recent active listening events, letting you see at a glance if reminders are needed to encourage participation. Depending on your company’s subscriptions, tabs may also be available to display cards for specific event types (i.e., Point-In-Time, Lifecycle, 360, Crowdsource). You can also click Manage Event in a card to open the Event Builder and make changes as allowed for active events.

  • All Events

The All Events section displays a table with high-level information for all your events, both active and draft. You can click Manage Event for an event to open the Event Builder and make changes as allowed by event status (active or draft).

Create New Listening Event

When you click Create New Listening Event (top right), the Event Builder opens and begins to walk you through the phases for creating a new listening event. The Event Builder begins with three prompts to establish your listening objective, event type, and building option, and then opens the main Event Builder workspace.

Note: The phases and options that appear in the Event Builder workspace vary based on the event type.

Click through each phase in the left panel of the Event Builder for step-by-step instructions to complete each one.

For step-by-step and next level details, see the Build Your Listening Program article.

Active Events

The Active Events section displays high-level information about active events and provides access to manage active events (e.g., modify survey settings, add/edit users, add late invitees, revert to draft). This section displays cards for your four most recent active listening events. Using the tabs above the cards, you can change the display to show the most recent events (default) or a specific type of listening event (Point-In-Time, Lifecycle, 360, or Crowdsource, depending on the subscriptions your company has purchased). Click Manage Event in a card to open the Event Builder and make changes as allowed by the active event status.

For more information, see the Manage Your Listening Program (Overview) article.

All Events

The All Events section displays a table with key information for all your events - active, draft, or closed - and provides access to manage your events. The table displays the following information:

  • Name: The name of the event

  • Type: The event type (Point-In-Time, Lifecycle, 360, or Crowdsource)

  • Status: Active, Draft, or Closed

  • Talent Priority: The business and talent priority the event is based on

  • Created: The date the event was created

  • Launched: The date the event was launched

  • Actions: Access to manage the event (by clicking Manage Event)

Using the options above the table you can:

  • Click the tabs to display only active, only draft, or only closed events.

  • Re-sort by column (using the arrows).

  • Search for specific events (using the Search box).

  • Apply filters by type, talent priority, created date, or launch date.

  • Clear filters by clicking Clear Filters.
