In this update, you’ll find high-level summaries of the latest platform features and enhancements. We’ve also included links to Knowledge Base articles for detailed instructions on how to make the most of these updates.


Unless otherwise noted, the following features support People Insights Platform 2.5 and are available based on permissions and subscriptions purchased.

LISTEN


➡️    Point-In-Time & Lifecycle: Event Level Reporting Configurations


User Roles: Admin                               

Required Subscription(s): Platform

Admin users can now customize reports for individual listening events, enhancing the Advanced Reporting experience for self-led events. In the Event Builder’s Settings, you can use the Advanced Configurations for Point-In-Time and Lifecycle events to enable or disable features in the Favorability, Benchmark, and Demographic Crosstab reports, giving you more control over the reporting experience. Settings for other reports will be added throughout the coming months.

➡️    Point-In-Time & Lifecycle: Response Option Updates


User Roles: Admin, Creator                              

Required Subscription(s): Platform

Admin and Creator users can now customize how response options for both demographic and event-specific questions are displayed to respondents during listening events. The display type determines how the answer choices appear. You can select between Radio (the default option) or Pulldown.


The Pulldown option is useful for questions with long lists of options (like location, rating scales, or multi-select items) as it makes the selection process easier for respondents. By default, the Pulldown display type is automatically applied to eNPS questions or any question with more than eight response options.

ANALYZE


➡️    Analytics Studio: Custom (Lexical) Theme Detection Models


User Roles: Admin, Creator                               

Required Subscription(s): Platform

We’ve improved comment analysis in Analytics Studio by adding support for custom (lexical) theme detection models alongside our standard (supervised) theme model. You can now easily switch between models, offering a more flexible and personalized experience.

Note: The ability to switch between models in Analytics Studio is available only if a custom (lexical) model is in use in Advanced Reporting. 

Custom (lexical) models are currently available for Perceptyx-led Point-In-Time and Lifecycle listening events only. 

 

You can switch models at any time, and your selection will remain in effect until you change it again. You can view the full list of available themes for either model.

Note: Custom themes in Analytics Studio are read-only, but you can update them in Advanced Reporting, with changes syncing to Analytics Studio.

➡️    Analytics Studio: Cross-Survey Demographic Filters

Cross-survey demographic filters make it easier to compare results across multiple surveys for specific groups, such as locations, departments, etc. You can quickly apply a filter based on demographic fields that are shared across all surveys in a project and data across all widgets in the project immediately update. You can also save filters and reapply them later, providing convenient future analysis.

➡️   2025 Benchmark Comparisons

2025 benchmark comparisons are now available in the Perceptyx Benchmark Database and Library. This update includes data from 531 organizations and over 20 million respondents who participated in surveys over the past three years (2022–2024), tracking 710 commonly used scaled survey items.

  • The Perceptyx Benchmark Database spans 226 countries, capturing diverse perspectives from organizations across multiple industries and geographies.

  • With the continued expansion of our dataset, we can offer deeper, more representative insights for our customers.

We’re excited to introduce AI Coach, a chat-based interface that provides personalized coaching powered by behavioral science. AI Coach helps employees develop the habits that drive success by offering actionable, science-backed guidance.

Key Features:

  • Personalized Coaching: Tailors its approach to your organization's values, goals, and competencies, while considering each employee’s unique development needs.

  • Behavioral Science-Driven: Trained on over 2,500 science-backed nudges, it provides actionable, proven guidance to create measurable behavioral change.

  • Proactive Engagement: AI Coach engages employees within the flow of work, offering relevant nudges and actionable advice at the right moments.

  • Versatile Support:

    • Helps managers brainstorm ideas for action plans.

    • Discusses specific nudges to help employees apply them to their unique context.

    • Offers on-demand guidance anytime via chat.

  • HR-Sensitive: Designed with HR-specific guardrails, AI Coach knows when to direct employees to an HR representative or trusted leader for sensitive topics.




Note: AI Coach is an “opt in” feature that is not enabled by default. Activate and Grow customers need to request enablement and specify which users should be given access.

➡️    Delete Action Plans


User Roles: Admin, Manager, HRBP, 360 Participant                                

Required Subscription(s): Platform

You can now permanently delete action plans from all Action Plan views, giving you more control over your action plan management. Unlike archiving, which only removes action plans from the Active Action Plans feed and prevents future action planning for the associated listening event item, deleting completely removes the action plan from all views and makes the associated item available for action planning again.


Deleting action plans helps keep your workspace organized by fully removing unwanted plans. If you need a record of an action plan, you can download the data before deleting it, as long as you have the necessary permissions.
